This is a mural on the side of the Robert Johnson Museum in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. He was born in Hazelhurst which is about 15 miles south of Crystal Springs. He is know for composing and singing the Blues. During his life we moved to Memphis, Tennessee and then to the Mississippi Delta. He was a traveling musician playing in juke joints and street corners. The legend is he "sold his soul to the Devil" in order to gain musical success. He went by several names during his life but when his mother told him about his biological father, he changed his name to Johnson. The museum is in the Mississippi Blues Trail around the state,

21 hours agoVery neat mural, depicting Robert Johnson as a boy and later, as a man! The lower scene of the area is an interesting addition to the mural.
