As warmer weather continues, we are seeing more and more plants and trees begin to show growth. It looks like my dogwood tree is going to have blooms. I'm so excited!!! It's a waiting game before we take out plants and shrubs that were damaged during the unusual hard freeze we had. I'm hopeful more and more will show they have survived. My Dad used to say no matter how much started blooming there would always be a cold snap before Easter.

5 weeks agoWell done capture of the buds just ready to open. Love seeing the dogwood in bloom - which is unfortunately a short bloom period here. Looking forward to seeing pics of the open blossoms.

5 weeks agoThis is lovely. The delicate pink colors are amazing. I'm so glad to see them start budding. I have heard the same thing from my grandmother. I'm so tired of freezes however, that I hope the old saying doesn't pan out this year. We finally warmed up today, It's been chilly and wet for days. This is a fabulous shot with amazing detail and color.
