I have tried to find the history behind this mural located in Batesville, Mississippi. I can't seem to find anything except Eureka Street. Be that as it may, it was the first mural I saw when exploring the town. There are several more in dontown.

3 weeks agoWell done capture of the textures and mural details. Looks like a new mural to recognize an old purpose of this building. I think it was a movie theatre at one time but could be wrong.

3 weeks agoWhat a great looking mural! I love all the colors and the children in the scene. It still has retained great color after all the years of being exposed to the weather. I also like those dark brown bricks. Super shot!
